Little Seed – Minimalism: A Documentary

Little seeds are sound-bite posts where I share a quick thought, video, article, or some other bit of interesting information.

I recently watched a documentary on Minimalism on Netflix and I LOOVED it!!! I had heard a lot about simplifying and living with less before, but the way this documentary tied everything together – fast fashion, small houses, living with less things – it really spoke to me. I have recommended it to a bunch of friends and family since, and wanted to share it with all of you as well! Iย highly recommend checking it out, especially since it’s so easily accessible on Netflix. You might even want to make a night of it! Invite some friends over, have some snacks, watch the movie, and then chat about it book-club style. [Yes, I am a nerd ๐Ÿ˜‰ ]. If you watch it, drop me a comment and let me know what you think! I’ve already started looking up tiny houses on AirBNB to get a taste of that lifestyle (my favorites are this one in Malibu and this one in Hawaii). I’m also thinking I might take on the Project 333 to downsize my wardrobe for a couple of months and see how it goes! It sounds so freeing! I’ll be sure to tell you if I do it, and how it works out for me!

If you want more information on the movie you can visit the website here, and for the minimalists their website is here.

Let me know if you watch the movie and what you think! Are you energized toย downsize, simplify, and live with less? Are you on the other side of the fence and want to keep your things? Or are you a little bit of both? Spill!
